The story and the inspiration.
“Beresheet” the first Israeli spaceship launched into space is the definition of our existence, education and perspective for Israelism.
Beresheet – a project initiated by three engineers in 2010 as part of a competition hosted by Google, which later cancelled the competition and prize, but the project with the support of Israeli motivation to continue, succeed and hopefully achieve the goal – for a spacecraft with the Israeli flag to land on the moon.
“Against all odds” – obviously in our own way we managed to continue and work on the project, it took more or less 10 years of conveying an educational message to the younger generation – to teach them about Israeli ambition, when we take on a mission – the mission will be completed.
The educational message, the cooperation between multiple agents, the small budgets, competing against countries like Russia, China and the USA, there is no doubt and we can say with full confidence – we succeeded!
Although eventually the spacecraft did not manage to land on the moon and we were all sad, but more than that we all felt immense pride. We were all proud of our abilities, proud of our education and the message passed on to the young generation, the motivation and strong will to continue. to get excited without breaking down and undoubtedly our desire to complete the mission.
SpaceIL is the epitome of being Israeli, our education and success.
“Beresheet 2” is on its way – aimed towards the goal.
